Borrowing Policy 

Quimby Library provides library resources to support the needs of the Unity Environmental University community. The resources are limited and library staff rely on library users to return materials on time to make them available for others to use. Equipment is limited to the on-campus community.

Loan Periods and Reservations

Renewals

Renewals are on a case-by-case basis; one renewal may be permitted depending on the item and its availability.

Reservations

Reservations (bookings) are encouraged for equipment.

Use of library equipment outside of Maine is subject to approval by library staff.

Proper Use of the Equipment

Equipment should not be left in vehicles. Extreme heat or cold can cause damage to the equipment. Borrowers are responsible for damage incurred while equipment is checked out.
